CUSTOMER SERVICE CHANNELS

BANKTRON consists of multi-purpose software modules. Combining the modules allows creating solutions customized for various customer service channels:

  • Web
    BANKTRON Internet Banking provides ability to serve customers via financial services portal. This solution can be applied to private customers, small companies and large organizations.
  • Mobile
    BANKTRON Mobile Banking serves bank customers through mobile devices and provides banking in real anytime-anywhere fashion.
  • External Applications
    Third-party services on Web 2.0 portals, e-commerce sites, social networking, and augmented reality can be integrated into BANKTRON modules. Interfaces with external applications are created by adapting to an existing configuration or by using available interface templates.
  • Customer Services
    Customer service solution offers a specialized user interface for client service managers. The solution allows importing data from the other systems of financial institution to open account, assign service package and rights for e-services, check information about the client, etc.
  • Call Center
    Call center solution offers a specialized user interface for client service managers, and a Customer Identification Module. Client can authenticate using his/her phone and receive e-services that are supported by the BANKTRON - from information about account balance to agreement making.
  • Self-Service Terminals
    Solution for self-service terminals or kiosks offers an exclusive touch screen navigation system and a specialized user interface version.

REPORT AND ANALYSIS

BANKTRON supports the following aspects in service personalization process:

  • Information collecting
    Allows collecting information about every user, recording any action of the user when he/she uses electronic services, importing data from the main information system, intermediate or third-party applications. Based on collected information, relationships between user and service, service and device, device and user are analyzed, thus providing information for service personalization.
  • Information processing and storing
    Processing of collected information distinguishes customer groups that could be provided with packages of personalized services. BANKTRON report and analysis module allows measuring efficiency of the channels under various simulated scenarios, finding trends and creating projections, preparing necessary reports. Module tools allow defining customer groups, identifying their features and habits.
  • Providing personalized service
    Information provided by BANKTRON is used to make decisions and offer personalized service solutions for groups of interest. It allows evaluating the efficiency of tools that are used, client reaction to proposals and changes, etc.

DIGITAL IDENTITY AND AUTHENTICATION

Digital Identity Module allows integration with digital signature infrastructure. Standard functions of Digital Identity Module:

  • Login to access channel's services.
  • Authentication when connecting to external applications.
  • Document signing using digital signature.

Various means can be used for user authentication: PIN/TAN password cards, password generators (e.g. Vasco DigiPass), mobile signature, chip-based personal ID card, etc.

COMMUNICATION

Communication Module provides financial institutions with ability to keep in touch with its customers, solve their problems without delay, and constantly improve service quality.

Communication Module features:

  • Communication between client and financial institution via multi-channel delivery.
  • Possibility to subscribe different alerts (account changes, payment transfer confirmation or rejection, etc.) in different formats (SMS, e-mail).
  • Messages signed by digital signature allow improving many administrative procedures and making them easier.
  • Messages with attachments.

SYSTEM SECURITY

Security is one of the most important factors developing the BANKTRON. To protect system from unauthorized access and fraud multi-layer security means are used.

BANKTRON security is based on the following:

  • User is allowed to see only certain data, and make only certain actions.
  • Data exchange between server and user is built on SSL protocol which encrypts and protects critical information.
  • Communication between system components is encrypted.
  • Important user information (password, ID, etc.) is stored in encrypted format.
  • Login control with configurable maximum number of unsuccessful login attempts and unsuccessful login lockout time.
  • Blocked connection from specified IP.
  • User session is disconnected automatically, if he/she stays inactive for a certain period of time.
  • Transaction and user actions logs.
  • Stored history of any user action, access to global statistics of user actions.
  • A two-channel authentication. This type of authentication uses two distinct user identification means – physical (password card, password generator, mobile phone, etc.) and memorized information (user name, password).
  • Online identity integration with PKI and wireless PKI of digital signature, thus ensuring user ID authentication for all messages, orders, etc.
  • BANKTRON Fraud Prevention Module for detection and prevention of identity theft and suspicious operations.

TECHNOLOGIES

BANKTRON provides financial institutions with flexibility in expanding its services customized to their unique requirements. This goal is achieved by integrating the following technologies:

  • Microsoft .NET, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft System Center.
  • Internet, e-mail, GSM, SMS, PKI, wPKI.
